He was predeceased by: his father Albert Johnson; his sister Alberta Pittman; and his nephew Jerry Pittman. He is survived by: his mother Jesse Johnson (Welch) of Morning Sun, Iowa; his children, Jessica Johnson of Long Beach, Jennifer Johnson of St. Louis, Rosita Johnson of St. Peters, Missouri and Jacob Johnson of Texas; his grandchildren, Ejden (Liam Huscinovic), Adrian Cortez, Diego (Alex Rivis) and Chi Edwards; and his siblings, Betty Ruble (Jim), Larry Johnson (Michele), Lester Johnson (Tery) and Roy Johnson.
