He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Deen and Alice Deen (Davis); his wife Lois Deen (Ritchason); and his brother Roger Deen. He is survived by: his children, Darla Bassetti (Roberson) of Henderson, KY, Dean Roberson (Katrina) of McLeansboro, IL and Matthew Deen (Amy) of McLeansboro; his grandchildren, Kassandra Hampton (Matthew), Nicholas Bassetti, Alex Bassetti, Dacin Roberson, Ellie Deen, Hallie Deen and Hank Deen; his great grandchildren, Isla Hampton, Octavia Hampton and Ezekiel Hampton; his sister Lisa Young (Chris) of Walpole, IL; and his sister-in-law Connie Deen of Walpole, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hebron Cemetery Fund and will be accepted at the church or at Gholson Funeral Home in Mcleansboro.
