It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John W. Barth (Dakota, Illinois), born in Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on July 9, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robert Barth and Shirley Murray; and his brother-in-law John Murray (Jack). He is survived by: his wife Gwendlyn Barth of Dakota; and his children, Michael Barth (Shellie) of Dakota Il, Kathleen Auer, Leary Auer of Danville and Debra Auer (John) of Stillwater. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, the family would like to give donations to the Monroe Clinic Hospice.
