It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Marie (Sughroue) Banks of Dakota, Illinois, who passed away on September 14, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sughroue and Emma Schopf Sughroue; and her daughter Shaney. She is survived by: her husband Bruce William Banks; and her children, Cerena Banks (Shawna), Laura Wise (Todd), Valerie Schwarzkopf (Wayne) and Shelly Chaloupka (Frank). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jane's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
