He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tober and Mabel Tober (Scheir); his son Ferlin; his brothers, Wil and Donnie; and his stepson Ron Meier.
He is survived by: his brother Merlie Tober; his son Wayne Tober; and his stepchildren, Karen Haberman (Bobby), Shirley Geiser (Gary), Judy Royster (Norm), Roland "Toad" Rollie (Barb), Barbara Rollie and Lorrie Meier. He is also survived by daughter-in-law; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
