He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Wells and Alberta Wells (Dornink); his great grandchild Brynn Wells; his parents-in-law, Russell and Edna Zimmerman; and his close friend Kenny Nott.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Wells of Dakota; his children, Valerie Goeke (David) of Dakota, Tom Wells (Marcia) of Ridott, IL, Mark Wells (Erin) of Dakota, Chris Wells (Tina) of Dakota and Andrea Haffelder (Dorian) of Fort Atkinson, WI; his grandchildren, Lonelle, Tim, Curtis, Samantha, Ashley, Michael, Candace, Kassandra, Joey, Elwyn, Miranda, Brieanne, Sydney, Caleb and Claire; his brothers, Joel Wells (Nancy) of Davis, IL and Dennis Wells (Karen) of Dakota; and his siblings-in-law, Joanne Yeoman (Jim) of Dakota, Joyce Leonard (Garry) of Sandy, UT and Vaughn Zimmerman (Sally) of Davis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
