With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas A. Schoonhoven (Dakota, Illinois), born in Forreston, Illinois, who passed away on August 3, 2018 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Schoonhoven and Florence Schoonhoven (Hayenga); his wife Carol; and his sister Genevieve Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Angie; his children, Travis, Tyler of Pecatonica, Terry (Kathy), Tanner of Rock City and Sierra of Rock City; and his sisters, Belva Schulz (Delmar) of Orangeville, Florene Stultz of Allegan, MI and Juanita Harris (James) of Freeport. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the American Heart Association.
