With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stacey D Maxey of Dahlgren, Illinois, who passed away on September 13, 2021 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jackson Dixon and Mary Frances Joslin; her sister Jacque Gilbert; and her stepparents, Alvin Stich and Barb Dixon.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard Maxey; her children, Clinton Maxey (Regina) of Mount Vernon, Devin Rockett of Dahlgren, Illinois, Raquel Maxey (Chad Bliffen) of Mount Vernon and Autumn Cross (Justin) of Dahlgren, Illinois; her grandchildren, Tyler Maxey, Cassie Boester, Kirsten Hardig, Collin Maxey, Cadin Bliffen, Briella Bliffen, Faye Bliffen, Clayton Cross, Emma Cross and Rilynn Rockett; and her siblings, Steve Dixon, Barry Marquis (Sandy), Kelly Stich (Kathy), Tony Stich (Misty) and Pamela Ford (Rod). She is also survived by several niece, nephews, and a host of friends.
Memorials may be made in Stacey's honor to the Maxey family in care of Leonard Maxey. They intend to make a donation to a charity of their choice.
