She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ankenbrand and Lorene Ankenbrand (Wahler); her husband Wilford L. Mitchell; her brother John; and her sisters-in-law, Maureen Ankenbrand and Janet Ankenbrand.
She is survived by: her children, David J. Mitchell (Debbie), Paul R. Mitchell (Ernestine), Jim Mitchell (Tammy), Diana Lemke (Everett), Linda K. Burkes and Sandra McGee (Chris); her brothers, Mike Ankenbrand (Marilyn), Bill Ankenbrand (Alice), Dr. Lawrence Ankenbrand, Dr. Ralph Ankenbrand (Susan) and Gene Ankenbrand (Brenda); and her sister-in-law Geneva Ankenbrand. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
