She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Oliver Dyer, Sr. and Edna Jewel Dyer; her husband Michael Ray Maurer; her children, Alan Scott Maurer and Rhonda Michelle Choate; and her sister Julia Brosend.
She is survived by: her son John Maurer (Susan) of Dahlgren; and her brother Raymond Oliver Dyer, Jr. of Lovington, IL.. She is also survived by two granddaughters, four great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
Memorial donations may be made to the Belle Rive Missionary Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
