It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary J. Karcher of Dahlgren, Illinois, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred A. Grewe and Elizabeth Grewe (Wuebbels); her husband Arthur V. Karcher; her brother Joseph Grewe; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Grewe and Leo Rapp.
She is survived by: her children, William A. Karcher of Dahlgren, Raymond A. Karcher (Kimberly) of Springfield, IL, Gerald P. Karcher of Dahlgren, Melinda Karch (Artie) of Dahlgren and Kevin H. Karcher (Connie) of Evansville, IN; her siblings, Edward L. Grewe of Mt. Carmel, IL and Elizabeth M. Rapp of Belle Rive, IL; and her grandchildren, Mike Crewes (Shannon), Noel Chiros (Dave), Brandon Karcher (Ashley), Daniel Karcher (Audie Perniciaro-Karcher), Aaron Karch, Austin Karcher (Faith Crowley) and Craig Karcher. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Cemetery Fund and will be accepted at the church, or at Gholson Funeral Home.
