He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Irvin and Flossie Irvin (Harvill). He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Irvin; his siblings, Wayne Irvin and Betty Trotter; his sister-in-law June Irvin; his children, Pam Sledge, Sandy, Michelle and Jeff Irvin; his stepchildren, Mike Bolen, Terry Bolen (Tana) and Ann Anthis (Mike); and his grandchildren, Ryan Cross (Ashley), Jason Bolen (Joy), Jared Anthis (Kelsey) and Olivia Sledge. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Howard's honor to Lowery Hill Cemetery.
