Vernon, IL; her children, Melvin Scott III (Ashley) of Dahlgren, IL, Ashley Hofer (Nathan) of Wayne City, IL, Brandance Coffey (Ronald) of New Baden, IL, Sherry Miller (Charles) of Lawton, OK and Carmen Loper (Patrick) of Bloomington, IN; her grandchildren, Raistlyn, Riley Scott, Lacey Roberts (Scott), Rachelle, Alyssa Jordan Loper (Loki Smith), Charles David Miller Jr. (Tamara), William Miller (Angie), Carolyn Johnson (Justin), Skyler Bittle, Hannah Bancroft, Ethan, Colin Coffey, Lucas and Andrew Hofer; and her brothers, Robert "Butch" Kern (Mary Pearl) of Okeechobee, FL and Jeffrey Kern of Mt. Vernon, IL..
