Eddie Allen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eddie Allen (Dahlgren, Illinois), born in Hamilton, Illinois, who passed away on January 25, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Harold Haile; and his siblings, Lee, Paul, Ernie Allen and Nadine Engle.

He is survived by: his wife Dawn Rae Haile; his children, Susan Shull (Chad) of Santa Fe and Gorden Allen of Mt. Vernon, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Justin Allen (Liz), Sabe Luttengger, Johnathon Allen, Zakk Allen and Cortney Shull; his mother-in-law Mary Haile; his siblings, Roger Allen (Dorothy) and Shirley VanWinkle; and his siblings-in-law, Tim Haile (Pat), Sharon Mitchell (Vince) and Crista Grewe (Alan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the Richardson Hill Cemetery and will be accepted at the Gholson Funeral Home.
