It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel David Anselment of Dahlgren, Illinois, who passed away on January 7, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Anselment and Betty Anselment. He is survived by: his siblings, Tom Anselment (Cindy), Janet Johnson (Dennis), Sue Wilkerson (Steve) and Pete Anselment (Rhonda); his children, Erica Harris (Kendall), Bethany Reyling (Tyler), Natalie Webb (Justin) and Nathan Anselment (Allie); his grandchildren, Levi, Logan, Wyatt, Brynn, Harper and Avery; and his pets, Joe and Cye. He is also survived by family, but many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking any donations be made to the Hamilton County FFA or to the Hamilton County Foxes basketball teams, as nothing would make Danny happier than supporting these two organizations. And as he always ended the basketball games with his favorite signoff: "From Billy, Clare and myself so long and goodnight.".
