He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Wineland and Alma Wineland (Luecht); his brother John Wineland; and his grandson Austin Bennett Wineland. He is survived by: his wife Melissa L. Rose of Dahinda; his children, Seth Wineland (Sara) of Peoria, Lori Wineland of Henderson, NV and Matthew Wineland (Karen) of Elgin, IL; his stepdaughters, Stephanie Joos of Champaign, IL and Margaret Venzon of Bartonville, IL; and his siblings, Seth Wineland (Judy) of Colorado and Linda Bruesch. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandsons.
