He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd E. Church and Nelline Church (Smith) of Virginia; and his son Albert Wayne Church. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue Church of Cutler, IL; his daughters, Samantha Church Vachata (Charles) of Zeigler, IL and Beverly Church of Willisville, IL; his grandchildren, Thomas Keene III, Samuel Rettig, Gaige Rettig and Jacob Keene; and his siblings, Floyd Church, Betty Vuichard, Mickey Hewitt, Hazel Bardle and Joanna Nesbit.
Memorials may be given to a Love fund for the family.
