He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Gaetz and Thela Rednour Gaetz (Toots); his grandson Ronald; and his siblings, Donnie and Linda.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Gaetz of Cutler; his children, Rhonda Heisner (George) of Pinckneyville, Richard Gaetz (Betty) of Villa Ridge, MO and Linda Koker (Roger) of Cutler; his grandchildren, Lisa Heine (Matthew), Josh Gaetz (Tracy), William R. Heisner (Brent Sherrard), Michael Gaetz (Amanda), Ericka Boggess (Damian), Kylie Hohgrefe (Jesse), Jeron Koker, Brianna Martin, Angel Bowers, Charity Schaeffner (Tim) and Amber Putz (Jason); his sister Marcia Taylor (Tom) of DuQuoin; and his half-sister Lanoma Blom of Kingsman, AZ.. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, with one due in August; 6 great great grandchildren.
