He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Briley and Della LaBrot Briley; and his sisters, Lee Ann Woller and Judy Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Briley of Cutler; his children, Sherry Coleman (Troy) of Cutler and Mark Briley of Cutler; and his granddaughter Hollie Coleman. He is also survived by two brothers; and one sister.

Due to executive orders, current COVID guidelines will be followed.

Memorials may be given to St. Jude's Hospital.
