He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Pickett and Dorothy Pickett (Harris); his wife Marilyn "Janie" Pickett; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Annabelle Hagene; his brother Charles Pickett; and his brother-in-law Lawrence Rainey.

He is survived by: his former wife Marilyn Jane Hagene; his children, Linda Davitz (Fred) of Chester, IL, Keneth Pickett (Cara) of Sparta, IL, Donald Pickett of Leadwood, MO, June McManus (John) of Coulterville, IL, Rhonda Ebbler (Rob) of Percy, IL and Jennifer Higgerson (Josh) of Pinckneyville, IL; his sister Connie Rowley (Gary) of Sparta, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Hagene (Patty), Leo Hagene (Diann), Steve Hagene (Vicki) and Dorothy Mohr (Jim). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Covid resurgence restrictions will be adhered to, attendance will be limited and social distancing will be enforced. All attendees are asked to wear a mask.
