It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan E. Lindsey of Custer Park, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jarvis Nolan and Marie Nolan; her husband Basil L. Lindsey; her daughter Tina L. Stewart; and her siblings, Phillip Nolan and Sharon Zabasnik.
She is survived by: her children, Terri L. Wilson (Charly) of Gardner, IL and Thomas L. Lindsey; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Nichole, Matt, Adam, Lindsey, Brandy and Tommy Jr.; her sisters, Patricia Scheidt (Gerald) of Cairo, IL, Judy Guthrie (Bill) of McLeansboro, IL, Norma Wike (Melvin), Phyllis Sampson and Carol Adams (Phil); her close friend Louis Scott; and her niece Tanya Gurnitz. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, many numerous nieces and nephews.
