He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Scott (Ronnie) of Coal City, Dawn of Coal City and Brett Aldridge (Alice) of Coal City; his grandchildren, Kassie, Klare, Mason and Leah; his aunt Ruth Vilt (late Anton); his sisters-in-law, Wendy Huston and Anita Huston; and his cousins, A. J. Vilt (Pat) and Dana Schmidt (Ron). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
