She was predeceased by: her parents, William Poyner and Lucille Poyner (McDowell). She is survived by: her spouse Merle Morris; her grandchildren, Amanda Plese of Braidwood, Becky Morris of Gardner and Matthew Plese of San Mateo; and her siblings, Jimmy Poyner of Castle Rock, Robert Poyner (Anne) of Florida and Cecelia Midkiff (James) of Ledford. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Gloria's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to a non-kill animal shelter of the donor's choosing.
