He is survived by: his son Beryl Gerdes (Blackmore); his wife Jeanne Kurtenbach; his sons, Jimmy Gerdes of Chatsworth, IL and Ronnie Gerdes (Rhiannon) of Chatsworth, IL; his grandchildren, Zachary, Devin, Kyleigh, Mackenzie and Holden; his great grandchildren, Stella and Braeton; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kyler and Maddex. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
