It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald E. Harms of Cullom, Illinois, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Harms and Elsie Harms (Ellinger); and his brothers, Leroy and Wayne Harms. He is survived by: his wife Marian McFarden; his children, Kaye Toohill (Mike) of Bloomington, IL and Tom Harms of Riverton, IL; his caregiver Karen Moritz of Cullom; his grandchildren, Matt Harms (Robyn) of Sherman, IL, Jake Harms (Suellyn) of Mt. Pulaski, IL, Katie Toohill of Philadelphia, PA and Drew Toohill of Champaign, IL; and his great grandchildren, Victoria Harms, Reed Smith, Lance Harms, Kaitlyn Hudley and Payton Harms.
Memorials in honor of Gerald may be made to the Cullom Historical Museum or OSF Hospice.
