He is survived by: his spouse Esther Loewenhagen; his sons, Rick Hoppenjan (Donna) of Cuba City, WI and Ron "Red" Hoppenjan (Susan) of Cuba City, WI; his grandchildren, Chad Hoppenjan (Ashley) of Dubuque, IA and Sara Quigley (Sean) of Sussex, WI; his great grandchildren, Colin, Keira Quigley and Jonah Hoppenjan; his siblings, Robert Hoppenjan (Renee) of Bellevue, IA, Millie Sorensen (Richard) of Madison, WI and Jean Cleary (Terry) of Middleton, WI; his siblings-in-law, Martin "Chip" Loewenhagen (Delores), Joyce Hoppenjan and Joan Lewis; and his close friends, Willie VonGlahn and Joan VonGlahn.
