He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gordon and Alice Gordon; and his brothers, Dennis and James Gordon. He is survived by: his wife Hong; his son Alexander Gordon; his brothers, Thomas Gordon (Joan), John "Jack" Gordon and Brian Gordon (Jean); his father-in-law Nam Truong; his siblings-in-law, Chris Gordon, Karen Gordon, Binh Ngu (Cuong), Hung Truong (Yen), Ha Nguyen (Quang), Long Truong (Van) and Van; and his sons, Tran, Dung Truong (Tram), Tuyet Dang (Bang) and Cuong Truong (Truc). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
