He is survived by: his mother Eileen Slagis; his pet Cali; his close friend Erica Thomas; his siblings, Nick Slagis (Katherine Keefe), Anne Rich (Lester) and Ada Slagis (John); and his nieces and nephews, Claire Axinn, Ben Slagis, Nora Rich, Will Rich and Djali Cryer.
