It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth A. Freund (Crystal Lake, Illinois), born in Woodstock, Illinois, who passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymund Dunham and Clara Dunham. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Freund; her daughters, Debbie Johnson (Darrell), Kelly Sullivan (Daniel), Dawn Bush (Ken) and Kristina Koettker (Eric); her brother Robert Dunham (Susan); her grandchildren, Amanda (Ryan), Conor, Alyssa (Howard), Danielle (Hunter), Kevin, Emily, Zachary, Natalie, Madelynn, Claire, Olivia, Thomas and Andrew; and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Paisley and William.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Wait Ross Allanson Funeral & Cremation Service Chapel (51 Center St, Elgin, IL 60120). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in her memory to Nazarethville Place , 300 North River Road, Desplaines, IL.
