It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland J. Heinkel (Crystal Lake, Illinois), born in Hayward, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 25, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Frederick and Lu Vern Mae Heinkel (Henderson); his wife Karin Sandstrom; and his brothers, Gregory, Russell and Dennis Heinkel.
He is survived by: his children, Colleen and Jeffrey; his sister Deb Klein; his son David Heinkel; and his grandchildren, Gregg Heinkel, Danica Rocha, Brandon Heinkel, Haley Remsing, Douglas Heinkel, Geneva Miller and Karin Heinkel. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; and beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
