He is survived by: his children, Michael Schmitt (Lise Loberg), Mary Jo Keogh (Edward), Edward Schmitt (Lisa), Amy Schmitt (Guy Thier), Craig Schmitt (Kristine) and Larry Schmitt (Erica); and his grandchildren, Brian, Lauren Keogh, Tyler, Ryan, Kylie, Cailey, Zac and Sarah Schmitt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
