He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Anderson and Arvid Anderson; and his brother Neal. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Anderson; his children, Brian (Rozan) of Middleton, WI, Karen (Scott) of San Diego, CA and Eric (Denese) of Crystal Lake, IL; and his grandchildren, Megan (Kumar), Jacob, Kristen, Shari (Vikas) and Elissa (Nate).

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory – Crystal Lake (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Windridge Memorial Park (7014 S Rawson Bridge Rd, Cary, IL 60013).
