It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen L. Camarena of Crystal Lake, Illinois, born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Brasfield and Eleanor Brasfield; her siblings, Maryanne Steinlein and Roy Brasfield; and her pet Heidi.
She is survived by: her husband Ruben Camarena; her daughters, Angie McKay (Shaun) and Ramie Camarena (Tim Sampson); her grandchildren, Tristan, Parker McKay and Elliot Sampson; and her siblings, Ray Brasfield (Joyce), Susie Healy (Charlie), Bill Brasfield and Geri Brasfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate Masses to be said for Kathie at St. Margaret Mary (Algonquin), St. Thomas the Apostle (Crystal Lake), or to St. James Church (Arlington Heights).
