She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward "Bud" Jones and Lorraine Jones (Kropp); and her brothers, Edward "Buddy" Jones and Ronald Jones. She is survived by: her children, Lori Gonzalez (Efrain), Jeff Schroeder (Suzann) and Matt Schroeder; her grandchildren, Mark, Jake, Brooklyn, Hannah, Tommy and Tyler; and her brother Don Jones (Shirley).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Joyce's name to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital for Nursing Excellence, Recognition, and Research fund.
