It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Rosater (Crystal Lake, Illinois), born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Pavelchak and Olga Pavelchak; her siblings, Sonia Pavelchak and Paul Pavelchak (Doris); her mother-in-law Mary Jane Boyle; and her grandson Andrew Rosater.

She is survived by: her husband James Cleland Rosater; her children, Stephan Paul Rosater (Joanne), Jason Cleland Rosater (Erica) and Jennifer Lynn Rosater; her grandchildren, Paul James Rosater, Alejandro Esquivel, Stephen Rosater, Cullen Rosater and Bennet Rosater; her brother Daniel Pavelchak (Carol); and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Boyle and Jayne Boyle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's name to Orbis International, a teaching eye hospital (orbis.org), Journey Care Hospice (journeycare.org), or any charity of your choice.
