He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hopman and Beatrice Hopman; his brother Thomas Hopman; and his nephew Sean Hopman. He is survived by: his spouse Patricia; his children, Joyce Richardson (Edward), Brian Hopman (Candice), Ian Richardson, Peyton Richardson, McKenna Richardson, Calvin Hopman and Breck Hopman; his siblings, Margaret Burke (Patrick), Mary Rowe (Steve), Catherine Kushner (William) and Michael Hopman (Sherri); his sister-in-law Susan Hopman; and his sister Ann O'Hara. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
