It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geno Wright of Crystal Lake, Illinois, who passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Geno shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Geno farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ida, Theodore Miceli, Gean and Patsy Wright. He is survived by: his parents, Randy Wright and Jo Ann Wright; his sister Jenna Gartner (Bryan); his fiancé Mikayla Ackerman; and his partner's son Leo. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory – Crystal Lake (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014).
