He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Schaffrath and Margretta Schaffrath; his wife Carolyn Peterson; his daughters, Sheryl Devers (Darwin) and Dawn Alig; and his grandchildren, Nicole, Chase, Aidan, Avery and Christy.
