Skjerven (Crystal Lake, Illinois), born in Rugby, North Dakota, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merton Hartvickson and Shirley Hartvickson; and her brother Scott Hartvickson. She is survived by: her husband David; her daughters, Karmen Serbinski (Justin) and Carrie Padget (Brad); her grandchildren, Hannah, Claire, Conrad Serbinski, Elise and Drew Padget; and her sisters, Susan Marchus (Loren) and Kyle Handegard (Russell). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
While Caryn loved flowers, donations may also be made to Bethany Lutheran Church.
