He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oscar and Minnie Cherry (Hutchcraft); and his siblings, Ronald, Edward, Carl Cherry, Grace Robley, Fern Hucker Reba Cherry and Hazel Russell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
