She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Stanley and Margaret Stanley; her husband Larry Dean Carter; her brother-in-law Ralph "Dugan" Peters; and her grandson Dustin Wade Rankin.
She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Carter (Victoria) of Santa Claus, IN, Stan Carter (Joyce) of Crossville, IL, Steven Carter (Heather) of Fairfield, IL. and Barry Carter of Newburgh, IN; her sister Joann Peters of Lawrencville, IL; and her nephew Ronnie Peters of Carlyle, IL.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
