He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William, Jenny Lauer, Frank and Marilyn Cobb; his aunt Denise Cobb; and his uncles, William Lauer II and Ernie Munker.
He is survived by: his sons, Parker Joseph, Briar Ashby and Granger William; his parents, Robert Joseph Lauer, Sr. (Mary) and Lana Jane Cobb of Maunie, IL; his godparents, Eddie and Kathy Frashier of Maunie, IL; his siblings, Franklin Lauer, Kristen Hughes and Jennifer Lauer; and his stepsiblings, Trisha Williams and Travis Scott. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and countless friends.
