It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rickey Gene Ritsch of Crossville, Illinois, born in Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Gene Ritsch and Loretta Jean Ritsch (Hood); and his brother Jeff Ritsch. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ritsch of Crossville; his son Patrick Ritsch of Greenville; his sisters, Teresa Acord of Olney and Rachal Wortman (Paul) of Carmi; his sister-in-law Betty Ritsch of Carmi; and his pet Butterscotch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the White County Senior Citizens or the Tri-State Multiple Sclerosis Association and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel in Crossville or mailed to: Cook Funeral Chapel, 101 Edgewood Lane, Carmi, Illinois 62821.
