It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Jean Cox of Crossville, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Stanley and Vera Stanley (Hill); and her husband Francis Ray Cox. She is survived by: her sons, Billy Ray Cox (Cheryl) of Evansville and Jeff R. Cox (Shana) of Crossville, Illinois; and her sister Leanna Reece of Evansville, Indiana. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family requests no flowers be sent, but that memorials be made to Cheer For The Cure and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel.
