Ferris Scarlett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2021, at the age of 87, Ferris Scarlett of Crossville, Illinois, born in Carmi, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ernest Leonard "Ernie" and Bernice Kornegger (Hughes); her husband Gene Lane Scarlett of Crossville, IL.; her sons, David Lane Scarlett of Crossville, IL., Brent Ray Scarlett of Cincinnati, Ohio and Andy Leonard Scarlett of Vienna, IL; her grandchildren, Dawn Kirkwood (Jon) of Newburgh, IN., Cameron Scarlett (Jesse) of Washington, IN., Justin Scarlett of Gilbert, AZ. and Celeste O'Neal (Greg) of Grayville, IL.; her sister Jeanie Patterson (Bob) of Broomfield, CO.; her son Phillip Mitchell Scarlett; and her sisters, Betty Jo Pretzsch (Don) and Mildred "Millie" Ann Worthey (Ray). She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
In accordance with CDC and IDHP regulations, social distancing will be observed and wearing masks will be required.
Contributions in memory of Ferris, may be made to the Humane Society of Southern Illinois (humanesocietysil.org) and will be accepted by Campbell Funeral home who is in charge of the arrangements.
