It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Charles Carter in Crossville, Illinois, born in Comanche, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred E. Carter and Bernice Carter; and his brothers, Edmund Carter and Herman Carter. He is survived by: his wife Billie Carter; his sons, Jeff Carter (Robin) and Brian Carter (Karen); his stepdaughters, Delores Baker (Rhett), Debra Taylor and Lisa Harris; and his sisters, Mary Handel, Glenda Mitchell (Tom) and Barbara Cain (Jim). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
