He is survived by: his children, Tad Ayers (Robin) of Creve Coeur, Shawna Petra of Washington and Karen Prather Chiodo; and his nieces, Cindy Prather Thomas and Angie Prather Riethmaier. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
