He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Gilroy and Josephine Gilroy Sr. (Roberts); and his siblings, John W. Gilroy Jr. and Patty Wright. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Bowling (Neal) of Mackinaw; his grandchildren, Drayson and Bronwyn Bowling of Mackinaw; and his sisters, Linda West of Pekin and Peggy McCool (Kevin) of Pekin.
