With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Snare of Creve Coeur, Illinois, who passed away on October 2, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn W. Snare and Jesse G. Snare (Ales); his son Bobby Snare; and his brothers, Joe and Gordon Allbritton.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy L. Freeman-Welge; his children, Amber Larsen (David) of Elmwood, Jamie Welge of East Moline, Ron Snare of Creve Coeur and Cody Welge (Ann-Marie) of Des Moines, Iowa; and his siblings, Rick Snare (Sandy) of Chillicothe and Brenda Anderson of Pekin. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Guidelines regarding social distancing and wearing of masks will be followed.

“Heartfelt sympathy to Bob's family and friends due to his passing. I met Bob while on tour in Viet Nam and spent about six months in the same outfit. Always liked and got along well with him. Looked for him, and found him on Facebook. Tried to connect with him a couple of times, but we just didn't get our times straight to see each other. RIP Bob. John Bergo, Kenosha Wis.”
