Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Schultz of Creve Coeur, Illinois, born in Metamora, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 94, on June 25, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin C. Briggs and Theresa F. Briggs (Geile); her spouse Merle J. Schultz; and her siblings, Frances Jenkins, Ernest Briggs, William Briggs and Clarice Hahn.
She is survived by: her children, Fredrick Schultz of Marquette Heights, IL, Robert Schultz (Mona) of Pekin, IL, Marilyn Perry (late Dan) of Marquette Heights, Patricia Schultz Benker of Dunlap, IL, Susan Gorsage (Tim) of Washington, IL and Teresa Spore (Tim) of Edelstein, IL. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a private Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Metamora with Father Vien Van Do officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Sophia's Kitchen, c/o Sacred Heart Church, 504 Fulton Street, Peoria, IL 61602.
